Maple syrup

Unsalted butter

Steps
Step 1
Use the separate recipe to prepare the pie crust and place in pie dish ready
Step 2
Combine together the butter and sugar until fluffy
Step 3
Whisk the eggs separately and then add to the mixture
Step 4
Add the syrups and vanilla and mix until combine
Step 5
Lastly add in the pecans ensuring they have been halved beforehand
Step 6
Pour the mixture into the pie dish
Step 7
Preheat the oven to 190c fan and bake for 35 mins - 1 hour. The pie will still seem somewhat wobbly but remove from the oven once the pecans are golden cooked. Leave to set for 4-8 hours.
